Known issue with PolicyMaker on Windows XP with Service Pack 3

The Directory Services Team published an article on their blog http://blogs.technet.com/askds/archive/2008/07/30/policymaker-stops-working-after-installing-windows-xp-sp3.aspx about an issue with PolicyMaker Client Side Extensions (CSEs) when Service Pack 3 for Windows XP is installed. If you’re encountering the same problem, that PolicyMaker settings won’t be applied (neither computer nor user side) then read the article. Basically, the CSEs for PM aren’t registered once the SP is installed, so you need to re-register them manually or by using a computer startup script.
